Gunfire in Lynn, Massachusetts, prompted police to issue a shelter-in-place order Wednesday, but it didn't lead to the arrest of the shooter. The lockdown was lifted after about an hour, but the shooter wasn't in custody, according to Lynn police. They didn't think anyone was hit by the bullets that rang out about 11:31 a.m. on Commercial Street. While Lynn residents and students were no longer being told to stay inside, police still urged them to be vigilant in the wake of the shooting. "This appears to be a targeted shooting and not random. We encourage residents to be vigilant and to keep your doors locked. We ask everyone that has security video to check their cameras during and after this incident," they said in a Facebook post. They also shared images of a person in a hooded sweatshirt and track shoots with a gun.
