Peter Kent Navarro (born July 15, 1949) is an American economist who is currently the senior counselor for trade and manufacturing for U.S. president Donald Trump. He previously served in the first Trump administration, first as the director of the White House National Trade Council, then as the director of the new Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy.
